Hello everyone! This week looks pretty quiet for the most part. A high pressure system over the West Virginia/Virginia area will keep all low pressure systems and fronts north/south of the area until the end of the week. There is a cold front that may move through the area Wednesday afternoon which could bring some clouds and isolated showers, but the high pressure system should make it hard for any heavy precipitation to form. The high pressure system will begin to move east on Thursday and will make way for rain on Friday and possibly Saturday. What’s likely going to happen is a cold front will move southeast from Canada on Friday and will join with a low pressure system in New England that came up from the Gulf of Mexico. Depending on how close the low pressure system hugs the coast will determine whether we get a lot of rain or just a bit of rain on Friday afternoon/night. What these systems will bring behind them is cold air. Updates will be made when possible as needed. Enjoy your week!
