Monday 63-66/75-78 Cooler. Showers and thunderstorms possible in the afternoon.
Tuesday 65-68/82-85 Mix of clouds and sun with some clearing in the afternoon.
Wednesday 62-65/74-77 Partly cloudy skies.
Thursday 56-59/72-75 Mix of clouds and sun.
Friday 59-62/73-76 A shower or thunderstorm possible in the afternoon.
Saturday 62-65/81-84 Mix of clouds and sun.
Sunday 62-65/79-82 Partly cloudy becoming cloudy in the afternoon.

This week, we’ll be effected by the second tropical storm of the year, Bonnie, though this isn’t a strong system. We’ll get some rain showers possible on Monday going into early Tuesday morning, but the rain should be pushed out over the ocean due to a cold front coming from the west. By Tuesday, some clouds will remain in the area, but we should be dry until Friday. This tropical system will keep most of the rain to our south until another cold front moves into the area from the midwest on Friday. That system will bring a chance for some isolated thunderstorms and light to moderate rain showers Friday night, but we may not see any rain in the city. The rest of the weekend looks dry until Sunday night, but updates will be made as necessary. Enjoy your week!

The weather should be clear until Sunday when a weak cold front could bring some isolated rain showers. Updates will be made as necessary. Enjoy your week everyone!

This week looks better than last for those who don’t like cloudy and rainy days, but it looks like there’s still some rain in the forecast. We’ll start the week with sun on Monday and warm temps. Although rain is very unlikely, there is still a chance for a shower or two on Tuesday as a stationary front will be located over the Mid-Atlantic states. The system will move slightly south Tuesday night, and the sun should be shining again Wednesday and Thursday before a cold front moves through the area on Friday. The cold front may become stationary leaving lingering clouds and showers in the area over the weekend. Updates will be made as needed. Enjoy your week!

This week, we’ll have a beautiful start with a possibility of reaching the 80 degree mark on Monday. The temps cool down on Tuesday as a low pressure system will move southeast over New England and out to the ocean. Rain is unlikely for the city, but there is a very slight chance for an isolated shower on Tuesday. A high pressure system over the midwestern states will keep the area nice and dry for Wednesday and Thursday. A low pressure system will move into the area though Friday morning bringing a chance for scattered showers throughout the day. The rain should clear out of the area by Saturday, leaving the rest of the weekend to be pretty nice. Updates will be made as the weekend gets closer. Enjoy your week!

Tuesday 29-32/42-45 Mostly sunny skies. Cold. Breezy.
Wednesday 27-30/47-50 Sunny with increasing cloudiness in the afternoon.

Saturday 30-33/42-45 Mix of clouds and sun. Cool.
Sunday 28-31/48-51 Mix of clouds and sun.

This week, a cold front associated with a low pressure system moving southeast from the Great Lakes region will bring scattered rain showers on Monday. The precip may start as light snow early Monday morning. Behind this, cold air will move back into the area. A new low pressure system that developed over the Pacific Northwest will travel eastward during the week. This system will bring warm southerly winds on Thursday, and also, a chance of rain. A new area of low pressure will start to develop just off the Virginia coast on Friday, so the chance of rain continues from Thursday, and doesn’t diminish until Saturday morning. Although Thursday and Friday will be a bit warmer, the cool temps return for Saturday and Sunday after the low pressure systems move out of the area. Updates will come as the week goes on. Enjoy your cool spring week!

Day Morning Temp/Afternoon Temp(*F) Description
Monday 44-47/55-58 Showers likely throughout the day. Breezy during the night.
Tuesday 39-42/52-55 Mostly sunny skies, and breezy.
Wednesday 32-35/50-53 Sunny skies. Cold in the morning.
*Thursday 49-52/63-66 Partly cloudy skies becoming cloudier in the evening. Warmer.
*Friday 52-55/68-71 Showers around in the morning, then, a steadier rain likely in the afternoon.
*Saturday 50-53/55-58 Mostly cloudy skies with isolated showers possible. Cooler.
*Sunday 35-38/47-50 Mostly cloudy early with an isolated shower in the morning, then clearing in the afternoon. Cool.

Starting off the week, two low pressure systems will be effecting the area Monday. One heading over the ocean just off the Virginia coast and another just on the other side of the Canadian border around the Great Lakes. They’ll bring some showers on Monday, but will quickly exit the area by Tuesday morning, as a high pressure system moves into place. The night time and early morning hours may be a bit cool on Tuesday and Wednesday, but then, a new low pressure system coming from the Colorado/Oklahoma region will begin to bring up warm Gulf air Wednesday night into Thursday. By Thursday evening, the cold front will bring scattered showers (and possible thunderstorms to the surrounding areas). The rain will stick around until Friday, as the front may become stationary leaving lingering showers for the start of the weekend. Once the system moves out of the area by Sunday, we might get a major cold blast, so, I’ll keep checking, and update the forecast as it becomes clearer. Enjoy your week!

*The low front that will be moving through the area for the latter part of the week won’t arrive until Thursday night. The low pressure system moved out of the Rockies later than expected, so the rain will come later too. Other than that, we’re still expecting the same scenario of rain showers and isolated thunder on Friday. The initial cold front will move east over the Atlantic Ocean by Saturday morning, but a new area of low pressure will develop just northwest of The Great Lakes region, keeping the skies mostly cloudy. We also can’t rule out the chance for isolated showers Saturday evening through Sunday morning, and cooler temperatures coming, especially Sunday morning.

Day Morning Low/Afternoon High Temp(*F) Description
Monday 60-63/77-80 Mix of clouds and sun and breezy. Scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Scattered showers continue through the night.
Tuesday 65-68/81-84 Scattered showers/thunderstorms around through the morning, and again during the afternoon. Warm.
Wednesday 66-69/81-84 Mostly sunny skies.
Thursday 67-70/85-88 Partly cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorms around during the evening.
Friday 66-69/84-87 Mostly sunny skies.
Saturday 67-70/84-87 Mix of clouds and sun. Scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon.
Sunday 66-69/80-83 Mix of clouds and sun.

This week, the story is the major warm up! After a week of cold rainy days, the next week will feel like a whole new season. A low pressure system will move into the area Monday bringing up warm and moist air from the Gulf. As the temps rise into the upper 70’s and low 80’s, thunderstorms will likely develop ahead of the cold front and move into the area Monday evening. The front will become stationary, and will keep the chance of rain around through Tuesday before moving out of the area. The rest of the week looks nice and calm, except for an isolated thunderstorm Thursday do to warm temps ahead of a quick moving cold front. The chance of rain returns next weekend though, but temps should still be in the lower to upper 80’s. Enjoy the week everyone!

Day Morning Low/Afternoon High Temp(*F) Description
Monday 59-62/66-69 Cooler and overcast with scattered showers throughout the day. An isolated thunderstorm is possible. Breezy.
Tuesday 56-59/69-72 Overcast with showers in the morning, then some clearing in the afternoon
Wednesday 56-59/70-73 Mostly sunny skies. Nice and comfortable.
Thursday 59-62/71-73 Mix of clouds and sun. A very slight chance of an isolated shower/thunderstorm in the afternoon.
Friday 62-65/78-81 Scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon.
Saturday 65-68/77-80 Mostly cloudy with scattered showers/thunderstorms.
Sunday 62-65/74-77 Mostly sunny skies.

This week, cooler temps move back into the area to start the week, but by the end of the week, we’ll be back up towards the 80 degree mark. The reason temps will be so much cooler is because a cold front is going to hang around the area Monday and Tuesday, bringing us clouds and rain showers ending by Tuesday afternoon. By then, a high pressure system will move into the area blocking a low pressure system in the Southeast from moving up the coast towards us. The low pressure system may move north by Thursday/Friday, and by the weekend, the chance of rain returns as the high pressure system is pushed out of the area because of another cold front coming from the Northern Plains. The week in general though doesn’t look too bad, so hopefully, you all enjoy!

Wednesday 65-68/82-85 Mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers/thunderstorms(Probable).
Thursday 64-67/81-84 Mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers/thunderstorms(Possible).
Friday 63-66/78-81 Mix of clouds and sun.
Saturday 63-66/79-82 Clouds building and a slight chance of a shower/thunderstorm in the evening becoming more likely through the night.
Sunday 59-62/70-73 Showers in the area and cooler.

Hello everybody! This week looks like it could be a bit wet, and definitely humid with warmer temps finally moving into the area. A high pressure system is going to move into the central Atlantic Ocean area, and that’s going to bring winds steady from the south this week, also causing any low pressure systems/fronts to move a lot slower. So what this means is a few days of scattered rain showers/thunderstorms. The chance of rain is low on Tuesday, but increases for Wednesday and Thursday as the low pressure system moves closer to the coast. The first system will move out of the area Friday, but the weather will be active for the next two weeks, so another system will move in right behind it meaning the chance of rain returns for Saturday and Sunday, but the forecast will be more fine tuned as the weekend gets closer. Until then, enjoy your week, and the warm weather!

Day Morning Low/Afternoon High Temp(*F) Description
Monday 60-63/64-67 Mostly cloudy skies, and a very slight chance of an isolated shower/thunderstorm.
Tuesday 56-59/73-76 Showers possible in the early morning, then an isolated shower/thunderstorm possible in the evening.
Wednesday 56-59/70-73 Mostly sunny skies.
Thursday 49-52/64-67 Mostly cloudy skies.
Friday 54-57/72-75 Mix of clouds and sun with some clearing in the afternoon.
Saturday 50-53/69-72 Sunny and a bit breezy.
Sunday 56-59/77-80 Mostly sunny skies and warmer.

To start off this week, the weather will definitely be active around us, but we may not get as much precipitation as other places. A low that is placed over the northern Plains right now will move East-Northeast and will effect us Monday and Tuesday. On Monday, the warm front will keep our winds coming off of the ocean, so the temps will only reach the mid 60’s especially with clouds around. There is a slight chance of an isolated shower/thunderstorm, but it’s very unlikely. Tuesday, the chance of rain increases slightly, but the probability is still pretty unlikely for our area. The rest of the week through the weekend looks to be cool, and dry. Enjoy!
